Heissan!

This week has been all about making research and testing different kinds of methods in order to learn more about public transportation here in Turku. We have had so much fun and have really been INNOvating and INNOstuttu of many things. On Monday we had a kind of an immersive workshop where we shared our own ideas, “brainstorming”, discussed about our own experiences and knowledge. We also decided to spread our questionnaire a bit and made a short interview that we all are going to use this week in order to scan people’s opinions here around Turku. 

Yesterday it was all about surviving and travelling around Turku by bus. We decided to combine various techniques in our own way: day in the life, interviews, empathy tool, videos, observing and shadowing. We decided to explore Turku randomly and take a role as a person who is not used to use buses – “we didn’t know anything about travelling by bus”. We also communicated with various persons representing different target groups, for instance during the bus journeys. Also bus driver was taken into account! Our journey started from Tuomiokirkkotori to Kauppatori where we visited Turun joukkoliikenteen palvelutoimisto and got a map to guide us. Off we go!
